Baseball Update.

3rd grade just finished an in depth novel study of Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo then threw a party like Opal and Gloria did in the book. The classroom was decorated with pictures and drawings of dogs, they played a review game, and t he movie was also a big hit!

Thank you to the Shullsburg Fund for supporting our students' learning experience! Our students will now have the opportunity to use RealCare Baby simulators - a hands-on parenting education program that provides realistic insights into the challenges of infant care. These high-tech babies track every interaction, helping students understand the true demands of parenting. We are deeply grateful for this transformative grant that will provide meaningful life skills education!

Miner Reminder

26 Shullsburg FFA Members competed in Career Development Events on March 20th at UW-Platteville. The members pictured competed as teams in various contests. It was a great chance for the students to use their knowledge and work as a team!
Shullsburg and Benton seniors attended the Colony Brands Career Expo. Each senior received a $300 scholarship, giving them a head start on their next steps after high school. We're so grateful to Colony Brands for supporting our local teens and helping them become career ready!

Students competed for the first time in the Six Rivers Math Competition. Each student took a 10 minute mental math test, 30 minute individual test and then joined forces for a 30 minute team test. Liam McGovern and Hudson Wiegel achieved 1st Team All-Conference in their level!
