Elementary students are invited to join our NHS students at McCoy Public Library on Wednesday, March 11, after school for a fun afternoon featuring a creative craft activity.

Last week, our FFA team wrapped up FFA Week with an incredible assembly full of energy and teamwork. We’re so proud of the leadership, hard work, and heart they poured into making it such a fun and memorable week for everyone. Way to represent what FFA is all about!









Hands-on learning in action, Anatomy & Physiology students examined the anatomy of the eye through dissection, connecting textbook concepts to real-world structures.




This week AP Biology students took a trip to the UW Biotechnology center to practice electrophoresis.




Referendum Facts

Second grade explored the Winter Olympics. They read Tacky and the Winter Games, a story about a penguin who creates and competes in his own winter games. To wrap up learning, they hosted their own “Tacky Olympics.”

FFA Week is in full swing, and today’s petting zoo was a huge hit! Students loved getting up close with the animals. We’re proud of our members for making it such a fun, hands-on experience!










Shullsburg Middle School 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball has secured the #7 seed in the Fever River Tournament. They will play the #10 seed Warren Warriors at 9:00 AM on Saturday, February 28th in Scales Mound.

Congratulations to the Shullsburg Lady Miners on their first round playoff victory versus Juda last night! The Lady Miners will advance in tournament play to take on the Riverdale Chieftains on Friday night in Shullsburg. Game time 7:00 PM.

Sustainable Style in action, Shullsburg NHS offered winter gear to every elementary student, welcomed 70+ community members to our free pick-up days, and donated remaining items to Platteville shelters. Service, sustainability, and students learning the power of giving back. Thank you to Lands' End for your generous donation.
