Shullsburg School District office will be closed December 21- January 5.

Basketball updates for Friday, Dec. 20.

Due to low numbers in high school girls' basketball in the Benton program, they are investigating the possibility of a co-op with Shullsburg. There has also been some concern raised within the Shullsburg athletic department of possible lower participation numbers in future years within our high school girls' program.
The Benton School District is holding a forum on Wednesday night to discuss and gather input from their community on this topic. The Shullsburg School District will be hosting a similar forum on Thursday, December 19 at 6 pm in the Cafeteria to discuss and gather input on this co-op possibility.
Both districts are gathering information prior to any Board discussions in January. Please plan to attend on Thursday to express your support or concerns. Those not able to attend the forum on Thursday but wish to express their opinions or questions, can send their thoughts to Mike Raso (mraso@shullsburg.k12.wi.us) or Steve Meylor (smeylor@shullsburg.k12.wi.us).

PTA Elementary Holiday Concert Fundraiser on Monday!

This week, we celebrate Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Week!
It's a great time to recognize the importance of our FCS program, formerly known as Home Economics.
It is more than just cooking and sewing; it equips students with essential life skills that are crucial for living independently. The skills learned in this program will help students thrive in the real world. In FCS, students explore various topics, including:
- Cooking: Learn how to prepare healthy meals
- Budgeting: Managing money and smart financial decisions
- Home Management: How to maintain a household, including cleaning, interior design, organizing, and planning
-Child Care: Understand the fundamentals of caring for children, including safety, nutrition, and developmental activities
We are proud to offer this program again, as it provides a fantastic opportunity for all students to gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life.

Join us December 9th at 7 PM in the Pit for our Shullsburg Elementary Concert.

As the snow falls today, we want to thank Sheriff Reg Gill for sharing essential winter driving safety tips with our student drivers last week! A big shoutout to Children's Wisconsin for donating 5 winter safety kits and to Shullsburg PTA & School District for providing ice scrapers & brushes. Students cleaned out their car to make room for winter gear. Together, we’re keeping our young drivers safe!
